SCHOLARSHIPS FOR FULL TIME COLLEGE STUDENTS
The North Carolina chapter of AFCEA is announcing an expansion of the college scholarship program to more eligible residents in the Ft. Bragg area. College scholarships will be awarded to full time students from the 11 North Carolina counties near Ft. Bragg and Pope AFB: Cumberland, Moore, Harnett, Sampson, Bladen, Robeson, Hoke, Scotland, Richmond, Montgomery, and Lee counties.
High School seniors and college students seeking degrees and careers in fields of technology and science such as telecommunications, systems networking, electronics, computers, engineering, physics, mathematics, information security, information systems, or information sciences are encouraged to apply. Last year 10 scholarships were awarded for a total of $20,000. This year's scholarship program will award up to $30,000. The application package is available below. All applications must be delivered or postmarked by April 1, 2009.
