Membership Meeting
The NC Chapter of AFCEA will hold the first membership meeting of 2009 on Wednesday , Jan 21, 2009 at McKellar's Lodge at Ft. Bragg, NC at 11:30. The meeting will include a time for networking, a buffet lunch and guest speaker. Cost will be approximately $7.50 per person. Ms Linda Walker is scheduled to give an update on contracting and the outlook of small business opportunities at Ft. Bragg and Pope AFB. Membership information will be available at the luncheon, or you can go to www.afcea.org for information about joining AFCEA. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
McKellar's Lodge is at McKellars Pond off Gruber Rd. on Ft. Bragg. For directions search Google Maps for (McKellars Pond, Ft. Bragg, NC). Their phone is 910-907-LAKE. At this time visitors do not need special passes to enter Ft. Bragg. If you do not have a vehicle sticker, you may find that the visitor's gate at Randolph Street and Route NC24 is quicker then the more busy gate on All American expressway. All passengers need valid ID and the registration for the vehicle. You will be asked to step out of the car and open all doors, glove box, trunk and hood for visual inspection. Usually delay is less then 10 minutes.
