SPEAKER:  Jane Yu is the AI and Machine Learning Solutions Leader for IBM Federal Systems

TOPIC: What are the uses, challenges, and risks of implementing AI within defense and intelligence organizations. Items such as "What is AI?", "How are defense and intelligence organizations thinking about using AI?", "What are the challenges and risks associated with implementing AI systems?", "How can an organization begin their AI Journey?"

BIO:   Jane Yu is the AI and Machine Learning Solutions Leader for IBM Federal Systems—spearheading IBM’s AI and ML infrastructure initiatives across all US federal agencies. During her tenure at IBM, she has served as a healthcare, life science, and data science subject matter expert for complex projects involving the implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions, high-performance compute and storage platforms, and SaaS applications. She frequently leads client workshops and technical partner collaborations that are designed to deliver high-performance, on-premise, cloud, and hybrid cloud systems for Big Data, AI and Machine Learning workloads. Jane holds an MD and a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
