The North Carolina Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA NC) is pleased to announce our 2014 Janice Suggs Educational Scholarship. AFCEA is a non-profit organization consisting of over 35,000 members within the military technology community. This scholarship program provides merit-based scholarship grants to qualified students who are pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math related fields of study. Our goal is to encourage the development of the next generation of science and technology leaders and innovators. Over the past 5 years our chapter has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to over 200 students in the local Fayetteville / Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. This year we plan to present several scholarships of approximately $2,000 each to deserving students, including graduating high school seniors, college and graduate students for 2014. Now is the time to apply!
